Success Tools was founded in 2003 by Hanna Ong. Initially, for want of proper and correct information (in the form of books, CDs and DVDs) in the network marketing industry.

In 2006, Success Tools was taken over by Andre Liem, Desiree Liem and Jacqueline van Altena-Liem, a brother and two sisters, turning Success Tools thus into a real family business.

Soon they noticed - both within and outside the network marketing industry - an increasing interest in ‘tools’ in the field of personal growth and spirituality. Also in the professional service industry (in particular in coaching & training and HRM) one appeared to be looking for the proper ‘tools’ in these fields. Meanwhile, Success Tools has added amongst others organising educative seminars and workshops to its activities.

André Liem Is the visionary and commercial person at Success Tools. He is responsible for Sales & Marketing, Business Development & Special Events. After his pharmacy study at Leiden University, he acquired more than 18 years of experience in Sales & Marketing at various pharmaceutical multinationals (amongst others Sanofi Pharma, The Ares Serono Group, Fornix Biosciences), where he enjoyed working in various staff positions (amongst others Business Unit Manager, Marketing Manager, etc). He is now using all his experience & knowledge to make Success Tools into a real ‘success’.

Désirée Liem, originally a children (IC) nurse, is one of the driving powers behind Success Tools. After many years of work experience as a child nurse in intramural health care she started in 2000 a business in extramural health care. She is entrepreneur and director-owner of DeciCare, a very successful child care agency in the Netherlands with a unique, holistic approach of acutely and chronically sick children and their parents. As an entrepreneur she knows more than anybody else how personal growth, personal and business success are linked to each other. Via Success Tools she wants to help others in their own growth process by supplying them with the proper ‘tools’.

Jacqueline van Altena-Liem is the spider-in-the-web at Success Tools. She is responsible for Logistics (order processing & administration), Operational Affairs, Website Management & Customer Service. After her English Language & Culture Sciences study at Leiden University she worked for many years as Communication & PR Manager at various large multinationals where she was also responsible for the management of web content (including the international HBM Group). She is now full-time focussing her attention on Success Tools and is using her valuable experience in the communication and PR industry to turn Success Tools into a reliable and professional online-business.
